UNDERGRADUATE ACADEMIC PRIZES

Thirteen student awards are presented annually to the best microbiology students from the previous year (based on final grades) studying a relevant Bachelor’s degree at five participating Victorian universities.

While the 2024 prizes are being determined, the 2023 award details below may be used as a guide:

Prize Details

• Certificate
• $75 for 2nd year students
• $150 for 3rd year students
• Student membership to the ASM (valid from award year to March 31 of the following year)

Must be be majoring in microbiology in one of the eligible degrees
